WHAT WILL BE THE LEGACY YOU LEAVE FOR THE CHILDREN IN OSHKOSH?

*You can donate to fund part or all of a large project in our district.
*You can create a scholarship for a passion of yours to give to an Oshkosh student.
*You can create a legacy through an endowment for any school or the district.
As a school district we value the community's generous donation of time, materials and funding to enhance education opportunities for all children. The assistance of individual or group donations has enabled our school district to accomplish far more than it otherwise could have. The old African proverb states that “it takes a village to educate a child.” On behalf of the Oshkosh Area School District, we thank our many donors for becoming a part of our village.
AS A DONOR, HOW CAN I CONTRIBUTE?
If you are interested in learning how you can support education in our district with your donation, there are three major ways to do so:
1) If you would like to donate to the Oshkosh Educational Foundation, please contact the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation at (920) 426-3993 or visit www.OshkoshAreaCF.org/.
2) If you'd like more information about district needs or which school is most in need of your donation, please contact the OASD Executive Director of Administration at central office at 920-424-0296 or email patricia.vickman@oshkosh.k12.wi.us.
3) If you'd like to make a donation to a specific school, please arrange a time to meet with the school principal/designee to discuss your proposed donation. You can also click on the links below for some ideas of things that the school currently needs.

WHAT IS THE DONATION PROCESS?
Prior to making the donation, please arrange a time to meet with the school principal or designated administrator to discuss the proposed donation. This will provide an opportunity to identify your wishes as the donor, determine if the proposed gift is consistent with building/district needs and criteria, and to discuss district donation policies and procedures.
In order to manage service costs, technology donations must meet donation standards, non-standard equipment cannot be accepted.
The principal/administrator may need some time to collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, finance, maintenance, instructional services, etc.
Any monetary donation should be made out to: Oshkosh Area School District and given to the school principal/designee for submission to the district's business office. The monetary donation will then be deposited into that school's "grants" account.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY DONATION IS ACCEPTED?

A completed, signed OASD Donation Acknowledgement Form will be given to you for tax purposes and a copy kept on file at the school.

The principal or designated administrator will contact the donor to arrange delivery of the donation, if necessary.

The donor(s) and the principal or designated administrator are notified when the donation is received by the building/department.

Donations may be made anonymously.
