Oshkosh Area School District to Transition to Centralized Registration for 2019-2020 School Year

posted May 8, 2019, 2:28 PM by Katie Nieman
The Oshkosh Area School District is committed to improving its student registration process. Earlier this year, the District announced an extended online registration process, available April 1 - August 31, 2019. At this time, the District is pleased to announce and launch Centralized Registration for the 2019-2020 school year. Additional information and resources are available on the OASD website, via the Registration webpage.

Centralized Registration aims to provide an improved registration experience for OASD families, who are unable to complete the process online or who are in need of assistance. Families that already completed the online registration process, via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, do not need to attend Centralized Registration. The OASD’s 2019 Centralized Registration dates and locations are listed below. Centralized Registration will replace registration events previously held at individual OASD schools.

  • Westside Central Registration
    • Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from Noon - 7:30 p.m. at Oshkosh West High School
    • Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Oshkosh West High School
  • Northside Central Registration
    • Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from Noon - 7:30 p.m. at Oshkosh North High School
    • Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Oshkosh North High School

During OASD Centralized Registration, computers and OASD staff will be available to help families complete the required online registration process, and translators will be available to assist and work with families. Additionally, OASD staff members will be available to assist families that wish to pay student fees in person, and assist families in completing Free and Reduced-price Meal Applications. Families that need to complete the registration process are welcome to attend any of the Centralized Registration options. However, it is recommended that families attend the option that aligns with their child’s school. For example, if a child is attending a Northside school, parents/guardians are encouraged to attend a Northside Centralized Registration date.

“We are committed to providing our families with the best experience possible,” stated Dr. Vickie Cartwright, Superintendent of Schools. “By transitioning to Centralized Registration we hope to streamline the registration process and provide better customer service to our families, creating a one-stop experience with easy access to resources and supports.”
Additional information regarding Back to School activities, including Open House, Get to Know You Conferences, and/or Picture Day details, for individual OASD schools will be provided to families by their child(ren)’s school.

The Oshkosh Area School District is committed to Building Community Through Education and looks forward to welcoming families to the 2019-2020 school year.
