Oshkosh West Homecoming Week, Oct. 7 - 12, 2019

Oshkosh West High School logoThe Oshkosh Area School District invites students, families, alumni, and the entire community to enjoy the annual homecoming festivities for Oshkosh West, October 7 -12, 2019. The public is invited to attend the school’s homecoming parade, tailgate, and football game - featuring the Oshkosh West vs. Appleton East matchup. The Oshkosh North 2019 Homecoming Week is October 14 - 19, 2019; additional information will soon be available. 

Homecoming events on Friday, October 11 include the homecoming parade, tailgate party, and varsity football game. The Oshkosh West Homecoming Parade starts at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 11. The parade will start on Eagle Street, in front of West High School, and will travel east on Southland Avenue to Jocelyn Street, then north on Jocelyn to Titan Stadium. The parade has grown over the years and will feature the Oshkosh West Marching Band, Homecoming Court, west-side elementary and middle schools, the Oshkosh Flyers Football Club and other youth athletic programs, as well as many more school and community groups. 

The Taste of Oshkosh Tailgate will take place at 6 p.m. at Titan Stadium. The tailgate will feature a variety of food vendors, including Jersey Mike’s Subs, Olive Garden, and Oshkosh West culinary students; meal tickets are $6 each. Vendors will be located directly behind the main ticket booth inside of Titan Stadium. 

The Oshkosh West Homecoming Football Game against Appleton East will start at 7 p.m. at Titan Stadium. In addition to an exciting matchup, attendees will enjoy a half-time performance featuring the Oshkosh West Marching Band, Twirl Team, and Dance Team. Fan tickets to the game will go on sale at 6 p.m. at Titan Stadium. 

Homecoming week activities are designed to promote school spirit and honor many of the rich traditions that make Oshkosh West such a special place. The entire Oshkosh community is invited to take part in the festivities and join the District in “Building Community Through Education.”
