Three OASD Employees Receive WCASS Making a Difference Award

Three Oshkosh Area School District employees were recently recognized by the Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services (WCASS). Tim Bonson, OASD School Psychologist; Mary Beth Connors, OASD Transition Coordinator; and Heather Wolters, OASD School Counselor, received the WCASS "Making a Difference Award". The award recognizes outstanding professional achievement and personal commitment to students with disabilities. 

The Wisconsin Council of Administrators of Special Services, Ltd. (WCASS) is a professional organization comprised of over 350 members who administer and support special education programs throughout the state of Wisconsin. To learn more visit

The OASD’s Special Education Department provides a continuum of educational services to children with academic, intellectual, physical, social, behavioral and/or emotional disabilities, ages 3 through 21. Additionally, the OASD’s Student Services Department supports the District’s instructional programs to help all students attain their educational and career goals.
