The Oshkosh Area School District invites community members and neighbors to an upcoming information session regarding the new westside middle school project, which was approved in the April 2025 facilities referendum.

As part of the district's middle school consolidation plan, this project will combine South Park Middle School and Perry Tipler Middle School into a modern facility built on the current Shapiro Elementary site. The new school is scheduled to open for the 2028–2029 school year, reducing the number of westside middle schools from three to two to enhance learning environments and operational efficiency.

Neighborhood Information Session Details

Representatives from the district, Bray Architects, and the City of Oshkosh Planning Services will present updated design plans, discuss project progress, and answer questions from the community.
