The Oshkosh Area School District is pleased to recommend several candidates for leadership positions within the district's Administration Office. The recommendations are pending board approval during the May 31 regular meeting.

Assistant Superintendent of Instruction: Dr. Samuel (Sam) Coleman is being recommended to serve as the district’s assistant superintendent of instruction. Coleman currently serves as the chief academic officer for Lynchburg City Schools in Lynchburg, Virginia. Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Anthony Miller Jr. is being recommended to serve as the district’s first-ever director of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Miller currently serves as the Scholars for Success manager at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. He joined FVTC in 2014 after serving the Appleton Area School District and Milwaukee Public Schools TEAM Up College Access Center. LEARN MORE

 

Director of Elementary Schools: Erin Kohl is being recommended to serve as the district’s newest director of elementary schools. Kohl currently serves as the principal of Oshkosh West High School and has served the Oshkosh school district and community for nearly 30 years. LEARN MORE

 

 

Director of Secondary Schools: Jacquelyn (Jackie) Kiffmeyer is being recommended to serve as the district’s director of secondary schools. Kiffmeyer currently serves as the principal of Oshkosh North High School and has served the Oshkosh school district and community for 22 years. LEARN MORE

 

 

 

The OASD school board approved the following leadership positions during its May 10 regular meeting.

Assistant Superintendent of Operations: Julie Conrad-Peters (Conrad) was recommended by the school district and approved by the board to serve as the district’s assistant superintendent of operations. Conrad currently serves as the OASD’s director of curriculum and assessment and has served the Oshkosh school district and community for over 30 years. LEARN MORE

 

 

Director of Technology: Jason Schmidt was recommended by the school district and approved by the board to serve as the district’s director of technology. Schmidt currently serves as the executive director of Wisconsin Virtual School, a position held since 2021. He has nearly 20 years of education and technology experience with demonstrated success in supporting students, teachers, administrators, and community members in the appropriate use of technology to enhance student learning. LEARN MORE
