Steve March-Tormé Performing at May 1 Gala
A Derby Day celebration with all proceeds benefiting Oshkosh K-12 visual and performing arts
Acclaimed vocalist and recording artist Steve March-Tormé will headline the Oshkosh Area School District (OASD) Education Foundation’s Fourth Annual Fundraising Gala on Friday, May 1, 2026, at The Waters.
This year’s "Derby Day" themed event is a high-energy showcase for K-12 Visual and Performing Arts. The evening features an interactive fashion show, live music, and a collaborative gallery of student and staff artwork. Tickets are $100 per person, with 100% of proceeds benefiting student programs.
Featured Entertainment
- Live Performance by Steve March-Tormé: Known for his international touring and as the son of jazz legend Mel Tormé, Steve will provide the evening’s musical centerpiece.
- Lily Guilder Ambient Fashion Show: North High School alumna and designer Caitlin Stolley will debut her latest collection. Rather than a traditional runway, models will move through the venue and down the historic grand staircase, allowing guests an up-close look at the designs.
- Student Showcases: The evening will also feature an art exhibit and live performances by current OASD students and alumni, Josh Hawley.
Event Details & Atmosphere
Guests are encouraged to wear their "Kentucky Derby Best," including hats and fascinators, though business casual dress is also welcome. Admission includes a heavy hors d'oeuvres buffet and a dessert bar featuring student-made treats.
