Helen A. Beach Fund

Helen A. Beach was the wife of Orville Beach, a late 19th century industrialist. The couple made Oshkosh their home for 25 years. When Mrs. Beach passed away in 1907, she left the couple's estate to the city for the purpose of building the Orville Beach Memorial Manual Training School in Oshkosh (on Algoma Boulevard) and supporting Career and Technical Education programs.

Understanding CTE

Career and technical education, or CTE, prepares a highly skilled, sustainable workforce with the technical expertise, work ethic, and employability skills American businesses and industries need to remain globally competitive.

Support the 2024 Gala

Private funding plays a vital role in supporting public school CTE programs by providing additional resources, fostering industry partnerships, expanding program offerings, supporting professional development, offering scholarships, promoting innovation, and ensuring long-term sustainability. The collaboration between public and private sectors can lead to enhanced opportunities and outcomes for CTE students, preparing them for successful careers and contributing to the overall development of the workforce.
