Pre-kindergarten Center and Rec Dept

Perry Tipler Middle School Converted into Pre-kindergarten Center and Recreation Department

Project Cost: $9.7 Million
  • Purpose-built environment designed specifically for the unique learning needs of pre-kindergarten students
  • Modern and efficient office and community space for the Oshkosh Recreation Department

This project involves the comprehensive renovation and repurposing of the existing Perry Tipler Middle School building to house a dedicated Pre-kindergarten Center and offices and community space, including gym space, for the Oshkosh Recreation Department. This strategic transformation is a key component of our district's facilities consolidation plan, aiming to provide a centralized, modern space for our youngest learners and families and enhanced community recreation services.

This consolidation will allow the district to eliminate leases for non-district locations for pre-k.
