The Sunnyview Expo Center Walk-In Clinic offers the Pfizer, Moderna and J&J vaccines.
 

Prior to attending a Winnebago County Health Department (WCHD) COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic, individuals are encouraged to complete the required COVID-19 Vaccine Consent Form. Click the link below to access the consent form in your preferred language.

By taking the vaccine, you protect yourself and others from COVID-19, even if you’ve gotten the virus already.  When enough individuals have protection, there are less affected people in a community and the virus cannot continue to spread widely, that’s called herd immunity.   

REMINDER: Once students who are eligible have received the COVID-19 vaccine, they no longer need to quarantine if they are identified as a close contact. That means no more missing school if they are exposed to the virus! 

COVID-19 vaccination will help protect you by building immunity without the risk of severe illness. The risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19 far outweighs any benefits of natural immunity.   

You cannot get COVID-19 from the vaccine.  However, like other vaccines, you may feel some side effects. These are signs the vaccine is working. If possible, give yourself time to rest and recover in the day or two after getting the shot. For COVID-19 vaccines that need two doses, make sure you get your second dose. You won’t be fully protected until two weeks after your second dose.  LEARN MORE

Yes. The COVID-19 Vaccine is free.  

• Anyone under 18 years old  must have parent/guardian consent.
• You may be asked for your ID or for insurance information, but if you don’t have insurance or an ID it’s OK, the vaccine is free.
• You might be asked for a driver license or identification card, but if you don’t have it, it’s OK.  Teens may be asked to show proof of age to ensure they are eligible to receive the vaccine.
• If you need help getting to a vaccine site, there is Free Transportation available. 

There are many resources available to help you get your vaccine. 

First, do you have a vaccine preference?  If it’s important to only receive one shot, you’ll want the Johnson & Johnson.  Pfizer is the only vaccine available for anyone under 18 years old, at this time.  If a longer time between shots is important then Moderna, with it’s 4 week window, might best meet your needs.  Ready to find your vaccine?
